Wayne Wilkins Bio
Wayne Wilkins – Artist • Songwriter • Producer
Wayne Wilkins is a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer, and pianist whose work bridges classical, pop, and electronic music.
Born in Croydon, South East London, Wayne began learning classical piano at the age of four. His musical talent earned him a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where he studied piano while completing a degree in Physics at Imperial College London. He began his career at EMI’s world-renowned studios — Abbey Road, Olympic, and Townhouse — working alongside icons such as Elton John, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Massive Attack, Madonna, and Oasis.
After achieving his first No. 1 hit with Natasha Bedingfield’s “These Words,” Wayne moved to Los Angeles, where he went on to collaborate with Beyoncé, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Cheryl Cole, Wyclef Jean, Gucci Mane, Pitbull, and many more. His productions have earned international recognition and multiple awards, blending emotion, melody, and sonic precision in equal measure.
Through his label Croydon Boy and his Sony ATV venture Ego Frenzy, Wayne also helps develop the next generation of artists and songwriters, continuing his mission to support creativity and innovation in music.
Today, Wayne’s focus is his artistic project Arelius — a fusion of live piano, electronic textures, and immersive visuals that celebrates human connection and transformation. The project reimagines beloved songs and introduces new compositions that invite listeners to pause, reflect, and rediscover the power of music to heal and inspire. With millions of global streams and growing worldwide recognition, Arelius represents the purest expression of Wayne’s vision: music as light, connection, and renewal.
